On Thursday, August 3, 2023, Madison Concrete Construction held a heat focused Safety Stand Down at its MLR Office Building project site in Princeton, N.J. The project includes constructing a two-story, 52,056-square-foot office building over a new, 35,000-square-foot parking lot structure. Madison is responsible for the foundations and superstructure, including architecturally exposed concrete walls.

GBCA’s Safety Consultant, Jim McGugan, discussed heat safety, how to prevent heat-related illnesses, tips to stay hydrated while working in the heat, and dehydration symptoms to look out for.
