On November 6, 2021, NAWIC Philadelphia Chapter 145 held its annual Block Kids Building Program competition. Children in grades 1 through 6 were given building blocks and other items to create a building project. The projects were then judged by construction and engineering industry professionals, including GBCA’s President & CEO, Benjamin Connors.
Students were also introduced to eight trade organizations, which shared information about the different types of work involved in construction.
