On June 13, at a Building Trades Association meeting, OSHA representatives announced that Philadelphia’s OSHA Office has hired three new Compliance Officers.
To prepare for inspections, GBCA members are encouraged to perform mock audits, hold regular safety toolbox talks, and make sure that safety policies are up to date. Members are also encouraged to ensure that they are compliant with OSHA’s Silica Standard.
GBCA’s Director of Safety Services, Frank Durso, is available to help members with safety audits – including silica safety compliance, and safety policy review. GBCA also provides Toolbox Talks that can be used on job sites. Contact Frank Durso for more information at fdurso@gbca.com.
