The City of Philadelphia is accepting applications for Rebuild Project positions in three trades: commercial painting, cement masonry, and roofing. These positions will be paid pre-apprenticeships, designed to help people receive the training necessary to enter the construction industry.

Preference will be given to women and minorities, as part of the city’s efforts to increase diversity in the trades through the Rebuild Program. Graduates of pre-existing programs, such as PennAssist, will also be given preference.

GBCA is proud to be a partner in PennAssist, along with the Construction Apprentice Preparatory Program. We are actively engaged in programs that help develop and diversify the construction workforce by providing Philadelphians the skills necessary to enter apprenticeship programs in the trades.
