This special virtual event spotlighted the Philadelphia Real Estate Alliance, a group of organizations coming together to discuss and act on issues of advancing inclusive growth, economic competitiveness, and Philadelphia’s regulatory environment.

The Philadelphia Real Estate Alliance was formed by bringing together local representatives from NAIOP Inc., Building Owners and Managers Association, Building Industry Association and General Buildings Contractors Association. Each remain independent organizations but felt joining together on some shared issues might have a greater impact than going at it alone. …
[Lauren Gilchrist, managing director for research at Longfellow Real Estate Partners who also helped spearhead the alliance’s formation, noted,] “We began to say to ourselves, what is the most meaningful way to begin to impact the future of development, investment and job creation in the Philadelphia region using the skills, tools and resources that we as industry associations have?”And from that sentiment, the alliance was spawned.
