On Wednesday, September 18, 2019, the Philadelphia Museum of Art celebrated the grand opening of the North Entrance, which for decades had been used as a loading dock. LF Driscoll served as the General Contractor for this renovation.

The new entrance has a restored vaulted walkway leading to new gallery spaces, the main store, and educational areas including a new classroom studio designed for school children.

The project was certified a Star Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) project by OSHA.

Other GBCA members serving on this project include the following:

  • Berlin Steel
  • Doughterty Electric
  • Med-Tex Services, Inc.
  • Siemens Industry, Inc.

Congratulations to all who worked on this project!
