PYB, in partnership with Pride Enterprises and D3 Development, has created the Black Empowerment and Participation Plan to ensure that the Alan Horwitz ‘Sixth Man’ Center is constructed by Black-owned businesses, Black workers, and Black apprentices.

The Sixth Man Center, located in the Nicetown neighborhood of North Philadelphia, will be a 100,000 square foot world-class facility serving as a second home for thousands of young people and a resource for the community. The Center will provide everything that PYB believes young people need to thrive academically and intellectually, socially and emotionally, & civically and vocationally.
