The acquisition consists of 6 New Jersey based concrete plants located in Southampton, Woodbury, Voorhees, Cinnaminson, Kingston, and Clayton, along with a concrete recycling facility, and a masonry supply yard.

I am looking forward to having a second and third generation of the Gerber family joining us and sharing our collective knowledge of the industry.

Laurence J. Silvi II, Co-President, Silvi Materials

L&L Redi Mix Concrete was founded in 1966 by Linwood Gerber and was joined by his three sons and many other family members. Son Lee Gerber, and Grandsons Tyler Gerber and Jeff Lucas will be joining Silvi Materials in managerial capacities.

In addition to the production facilities, approximately 100 trucks, 40 pieces of mobile equipment, and 115 employees will join the existing Silvi Concrete division of Silvi Materials. The addition of L&L Redi Mix with Silviā€™s ready mix plants will total 18 plants and operate approximately 300 front discharge mixers.
