Philadelphia is proud of its booming pipeline of billion-dollar development projects that are being proposed and built throughout the city. These new projects are expected to total an estimated $13 billion in investment.

From Philadelphia Business Journal:

From sprawling mixed-use developments to a new sports arena, Philadelphia’s pipeline of proposed billion-dollar-plus projects remains robust.

A development team for 109 acres at the Philadelphia Navy Yard earlier this year fine-tuned its initial plan for the site that involves $6 billion in new investment over the next two decades. Less than five miles north in Center City, a development team led by the managing partners of the Philadelphia 76ers and local businessman David Adelman unveiled a long-term vision to build a new $1.3 billion sport and entertainment arena on Market Street between 10th and 11th streets.
