Target Building Construction, Inc. is deep into the renovation and expansion project for the University of Pennsylvania’s Stuart Weitzman Hall. This ambitious project aims to double the existing space to an impressive 38,500 square feet. The design thoughtfully preserves historic architectural elements such as the façade, the porch, and the balcony above the 34th Street entrance. A standout feature will be a 3,000-square-foot studio on the third floor, showcasing the original beamed ceiling and providing access to the balcony.

Upon completion, the building will serve as a vibrant hub for aspiring artists, architects, landscape architects, energy policy experts, urban planners, and historic preservationists. The new east-side addition will boast a grand entrance foyer, a glass-walled exhibition gallery opening to a covered outdoor patio, individual and multi-seat studios, large smart classrooms and critique spaces, and faculty offices.
