On November 15, GBCA hosted an electrical training on all applicable OSHA federal regulations and National Electrical Code (2017) requirements for temporary power and lighting on construction and renovation projects. Jim Dollard, a retired IBEW Local 98 Safety Coordinator, was the presenter of this training session.
Jim went over practical and feasible methods to ensure compliance on all projects, focusing on proper installation, maintenance, and electrical safe work practices (NFPA 70E) where justified energized work is required.
