The Pride Alliance of Turner Construction Company’s Philadelphia Office celebrated Pride Month in Philadelphia by volunteering at the Philadelphia Pride Parade and Festival on June 9, 2019. The Pride Alliance members helped set up the festival space at Penn’s Landing, and worked with parade coordinators to manage crowds and parade entries at the start of the parade route.
ABOUT THE PRIDE ALLIANCE
Launched in 2013, Turner Construction Company’s Pride Alliance is an employee resource group within Turner dedicated to celebrating diversity of sexual orientation and gender identity and championing gays, lesbians, bisexual, transgender and queer people as equal and valuable Turner employees. Pride Alliance is a network of coworkers made up of both LGBTQ staff and their allies, individuals who have dedicated themselves to supporting their peers.
