The University of Delaware’s Division of Professional and Continuing Studies (UD PCS) is offering a live-online professional drone pilot training program to police, fire and rescue personnel, engineers, real estate agents, photographers, roofers, and other professionals who use (or who intend to use) unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) for commercial purposes.

Since legally flying a drone for commercial use requires an FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificate and unique training, we want to help local drone users prepare for certification and gain industry-specific skills.

The next class will take place April 17, 18, and 24, from 8am – 1pm.

Upcoming Professional Drone Pilot Training classes are scheduled for spring 2021, live-online. The programs provide comprehensive FAA Part 107 test preparation and hands-on flight training in various UAS applications.

Note: Please be aware that seats are extremely limited due to pre-determined flight instructor-to-student ratios.
