Diversified has several locations with a professional staff willing to go beyond to serve its customers. Their staff is comprised of professionals from the lighting design community, electrical engineers, theatrical lighting designers, electrical contractors, lighting fixture manufacturers and electrical distributors. All of the staff has work experience combined with industry knowledge and specialized training.
Diversified got its start with two employees in an office basement representing a few lighting manufacturers in the area. The company was incorporated in 1969. In 2012, Diversified established an Employee Stock Ownership plan. The company now has over 60 employees and is completely employee-owned. Being an employee owned business signifies their long-term commitment to their customers and the manufacturers they represent.
