Fizzano Bros. Concrete Products, Inc. is an independently owned, family operated company that has fulfilled all concrete product needs to the Mid-Atlantic region since 1935. In 1935, the Fizzano brothers, Tom, Tony, John and Joe founded the company with one small manually operated block machine, making 100 “cinder blocks” a day in their home backyard in Delaware County. Today, the third generation, Rocky, Tony, John and Tom continue their grandfathers’ tradition of quality and service with three manufacturing plants in the Philadelphia area that service the Mid-Atlantic states by producing a comprehensive line of quality, commercial grade concrete products. Each of their three factory/outlets stocks a full line of concrete masonry units, hardscaping, masonry veneer and accessory products.
They understand the art of block making. They built their reputation for quality and consistency one block at a time. The quality process begins by selecting the finest ingredients: calcareous sand, stone, lightweight aggregates, color pigments and cement. It is their mission to research and procure the best possible products that conform to ASTM’s specifications.
Electronic control of the formulation of their mix designs insure that the proper mix is conveyed into the process of manufacturing a quality masonry unit. After the concrete is mixed, it is pressed into many varieties of shapes using Besser blockmaking equipment, automatically stacked into cubes, and lowered into our giant underground curing rotoclaves, where it is efficiently and optimally cured to provide their customers with a high value, high strength product. Their process is fully automated from start to finish. They manufacture up to 80,000 masonry units per day. They are meticulous about maintaining a consistent product for size, color, texture, profile, weight and strength.
