They have built a reputation for handling unique projects large and small for many of the region’s premier owners and contractors in the health care, university, commercial, hospitality, retail, and entertainment sectors of the market. Their nearly five decades of experience and ingenuity, coupled with in-house engineering and fabrication capabilities in their 100,000 sf Horsham facility ensure cost effective and timely project completion, and their highly trained staff of union installers takes pride in the fact that safety and quality are never compromised.
Their library of custom extrusion dies for proprietary systems under the name of Lupton Architectural Products numbers in the thousands, and their full product line includes standard and custom unitized curtainwalls, windows, entrances, storefronts, metal panels (aluminum plate and composite), glass handrails, specialty glasses, and point supported glass walls. Custom systems regularly undergo extensive structural, air, and water performance testing on full size mock-ups to ensure strict compliance with contract specifications and industry standards.
Some notable landmark projects include the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, Barnes Museum, CHOP Main and suburban campuses, Penn Medicine Abramson Cancer Center and Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Singh Nanotechnology Center, New College House, Huntsman Hall and Penn Law School, and numerous projects at Drexel, Temple, Villanova, St Joseph’s, and Princeton Universities. Other completed projects include Citizens Bank Park, the Wells Fargo Center, and the new Bristol Myers Squibb Princeton Pike Building.
National Glass & Metal Company’s Retail and Specialty Façade Division provides custom design, fabrication, and installation of unique storefronts throughout the US, Canada, and the Caribbean. Over the past twenty plus years, they have built over 500 storefronts, including flagship stores, for retailers Coach, Michael Kors, Gucci, Tiffany, and many others.
Current projects under construction include Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Comcast Skygardens and Interiors, 1601 Vine Street (LDS residential tower), 3201 Race Street, and PSU Abington Residence Hall.
