On December 13th, Local OSHA Area Director Theresa Downs presented an interactive guide to Table 1 compliance with OSHA’s new silica standards. The presentation Included case studies and applied real life scenarios to Table 1. This interactive program provided a guide to silica compliance, and direction for steps to take towards compliance with activities not identified on Table 1. Additionally, the GBCA Safety Committee welcomed a number of vendors who provide equipment to our members in order to make sure they are compliant.
