OSHA would like to make you aware of a safety recall issued by Genie Industries for certain aerial lifts that OSHA recently learned about. (The recall notice is also available as a download below.)
Genie Industries has found that weld debris in the boom tubes could lead to premature and excessive wear of the upper wear pads. This excessive wear can lead to potential damage to the boom tubes and could cause the platform to drop. Please share this with your members and other stakeholders.
