Important Product Recall – Dayton Anchor Shackles and D Shackles

Dayton Electric Manufacturing Co. (“Dayton”) is recalling certain Dayton anchor shackles and D shackles that were incorrectly listed as meeting federal specification RR-C271. Dayton recently conducted proof load and break load testing on a sample of the Dayton anchor shackles and D shackles, some of which did not meet their testing standards. Although there have been no reported injuries or damage related to the shackles, out of an abundance of caution they are recalling all of the items in the product line that were obtained from a particular supplier and were sold beginning in October 2016.
