GBCA participated in Junior Achievement’s JA Inspire: STEM Series at Temple University’s Student Center on November 13, November 19, and December 3. The multi-day event connected industry partners with students for an immersive experience highlighting the many career pathways available in STEM fields. Gilbane Building Company also joined the career fair, engaging students through a hands-on activity.
More than 2,000 middle and high school students attended the program, exploring expo booths and meeting with industry professionals. GBCA spoke with students about careers in the trades and the union construction industry, led rounds of Construction Career Jeopardy, and shared workforce development resources tailored to future career exploration.
