Melissa Wyatt, Torcon, Inc.

My role at Torcon, Inc. as Business Development Manager is to build and retain relationships within the industry from designers and developers to subcontractors and suppliers.  In doing so, I am able to both promote the Torcon brand and keep an ear open for new opportunities.   I stay connected by serving on boards and committees for a number of industry organizations in the Philadelphia area as well as New Jersey, including GBCA’s CLC chapter.

The CLC has provided a great platform for building new relationships and staying educated on the ever-evolving practices and technology we use every day, and offers the opportunity to give back to the communities in which we work through philanthropic activities.  It also provides access to the national AGC and CLC network, offering updates on nationwide industry trends, economic forecasts and introductions to amazing people all over the country.  I am happy to be a member of this great organization and to serve as your CLC Education Chair – I’m always open to suggestions for new seminar topics, so feel free to pass them along!

As a native Philadelphian, I am thrilled to be part of this industry in these exciting times since falling into a real estate career by accident back in 2003 and never looking back!  I try to enjoy everything this City has to offer and drag my son (and husband) out and about to experience new foods, cultures and art.  In my spare time, I offer up my marketing and event planning skills to friends and family for every life event imaginable because I just can’t help myself.

The CLC has a packed fall and I’m looking forward to seeing my fellow CLC members at some of the exciting events GBCA has put together.  Bring a friend and help us grow our chapter to the biggest and best in the nation!
