On September 19, the General Building Contractors Association (GBCA) hosted its third Eggs with OSHA event of the year, focusing on the future direction of the L&I Division for Inspections, Safety, and Compliance (ISC) under the historic Parker Administration.

The event began with an update from Bret Robinson, a representative of the local OSHA office, who shared the latest news and developments impacting workplace safety in the region.

Next, Commissioner Basil Merenda took the stage to present the blueprint for the ISC Division. He offered key insights and recommendations on how to enhance the inspection process and shared his vision for the future of L&I. Commissioner Merenda also highlighted upcoming initiatives designed to improve safety standards and elevate the overall quality of life for Philadelphia residents.
