The Women in Nontraditional Careers (WINC) Trades Readiness Program is now recruiting women for its next cohort, starting October 2025. This six-week pre-apprenticeship training prepares participants to launch careers in the union building trades, manufacturing, or transit industries. The program provides job opportunities for women through safety training, education, mentorship, and job application assistance. WINC TRP is in partnership with the Finishing Trades Institute of the Mid-Atlantic Region, the training provider of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades.
