The Pennsbury School District has announced an opportunity for contractors and subcontractors to participate in the construction of its new 497,000-square-foot high school in Levittown, PA. The project, located on a 120-acre site, is expected to go out for public bid early next year.
In preparation, the District is requesting proof of compliance with its Responsible Contractor Policy (RCP) by December 5, 2025. This policy ensures that all contractors and subcontractors participating in the project meet key standards for training, safety, and workforce development.
Qualified firms are encouraged to review the Responsible Contractor Policy and complete the Contractor Qualification Form to be eligible for bidding once the process opens. Required documentation includes:
- Certification from a Class A Apprenticeship Training Program registered with and approved by the U.S. Department of Labor or a State Apprenticeship Agency, with graduates over at least three of the past five years.
- The Contractor Responsibility Certification Form, included within the RCP.
