On November 11, GBCA’s Construction Leadership Council (CLC) hosted a Coffee Chat with Ken Innella, President of LF Driscoll, moderated by CLC Vice Chair and LF Driscoll Project Manager Chris Jaccino.
Ken shared his career journey as a Philadelphia-area native and Villanova University graduate who joined LF Driscoll in 1992 and has played an integral role in the company’s evolution over more than three decades. He founded the firm’s Engineering and Quality Departments, helped establish employee training programs, and launched the widely used Driscoll Q-Tips publication. In 2023, he was named President of LF Driscoll.
During the conversation, Ken highlighted several of the landmark projects completed under his leadership, including the Barnes Museum, Penn Medicine’s Smilow Center, Citizens Bank Park and its renovations, the Wistar Institute Expansion, the Axalta Global Innovation Center, multiple Jefferson Health expansions, and the University of Pennsylvania’s Mod 7, Vagelos Laboratory, and Calder Gardens projects.
Throughout the session, Ken offered practical career guidance—encouraging curiosity, continuous learning, and taking initiative at every stage of professional growth. The Coffee Chat concluded with a lively Q&A, giving attendees the chance to ask questions and gain deeper insight into leadership, project delivery, and industry trends.
