Mastery Charter School Lenfest Campus is seeking Philadelphia-area employers, including GBCA members, to provide paid internship opportunities for high school seniors from January through May 2027.
Students will generally be available Monday through Friday from 1:00–5:00 p.m., approximately 20 hours per week. Participating employers hire students directly at a minimum of $14 per hour and work with Mastery to develop meaningful, age-appropriate responsibilities based on their company’s needs.
For construction employers, internship opportunities could include project administration, estimating support, materials and inventory, safety documentation, office and operations support, and other areas that give students valuable exposure to the industry.
Mastery prepares students before their placements and provides ongoing support throughout the internship, including student check-ins, employer communication, and worksite visits.
