B. Pietrini & Sons provides general concrete services including foundations, flatwork, reinforced concrete, post tension concrete, concrete paving, site work, self-leveling concrete toppings, stamped decorative concrete, super flat floors, filigree construction, and pump, place and finish work. They also provide specialty concrete services for sewage treatment plants, linear accelerators and skating rinks.

The company was established in 1948 by Bernard Pietrini, Sr. doing small jobs and residential work. In 1960, his son, Francis (Fran) joined the company and they started doing commercial work. In 1968, Fran’s brother, Butch joined the company. In the early 1970’s, Fran became President and they acquired their first concrete pump. Soon, they were the leader in concrete pumping and rentals of pumps in the area.  In 1976, the Father, Bernard, retired and the sons ran the company until Butch’s passing in 2010. Today, Fran’s son, Marc is Vice President.   

Notable projects of B. Pietrini & Sons are Citizen’s Bank Park, US Airways Terminal A at the Philadelphia International Airport, the Kimmel Center for Performing Arts, 10 Rittenhouse Place, National Jewish History Museum, and the Allentown Hockey Arena.  They also completed a mass foundation pour and continue to do work for the Comcast Innovation and Technology Center in Philadelphia. 

Francis (Fran) A. Pietrini served as Chairman of the GBCA Board of Directors in 2010 and 2011.
