On Monday, June 18, GBCA hosted the 2018 Golf Outing at the Philadelphia Cricket Club. This year’s Golf Outing was not only the biggest Golf Outing of the last 3 years, but it also sold out for the 3rd year in a row! Even in the 100 degree heat, our members stayed hydrated and played through all 18 holes of golf on two courses.
The Golf Outing was also the official launch of GBCA’s Alex’s Lemonade Stand fundraising, organized by GBCA’s Construction Leadership Council. Fundraising included selling mulligans and golf balls for the Ball Drop, a 50/50 raffle. For the Ball Drop, golf balls were dropped from over 100 feet in the air onto a putting green. Congratulations to the Ball Drop winner, Tom Carfagno, Business Development Manager for Kastle Systems, whose ball landed the closest to the putting green hole! Thanks to AmQuip Crane Rental LLC, a Division of Maxim Crane LP for providing the crane. In total, we raised over $2300 towards Alex’s Lemonade Stand at the Golf Outing!
