Emily Bittenbender, Managing Partner of Bittenbender Construction LP, was named one of Philadelphia’s Power 100 by the Philadelphia Business Journal! Emily was one of only 2 General Contractor company leaders named in the list.

Emily Bittenbender is undoubtedly the most powerful woman in the Philadelphia construction industry. Her company is the general contractor on many of the projects transforming modern-day Philadelphia, including the renovation of Love Park, Pier 68 and the expansion of the Independence Visitors Center. Bittenbender is also a past chairman-of-the-board of the General Building Contractors Association.

 

Three other leaders of GBCA member companies were also included in the list: Bill Sasso, Chairman of Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young; Michael Heller, Executive Chairman and CEO of Cozen O’Connor; and George Norcross, Executive Chairman of Conner Strong & Buckelew.
