On Thursday, February 15, 2018, GBCA competed in the ACE Mentor Program of Eastern PA’s Giant Jenga Tournament. Playing for GBCA were Lance Claiborne, Kristin DeFrancisco, Byron Lee, and Diane Reynolds. Ben Connors and Anne Liberto also attended to cheer on the team. Forty teams participated in the fundraiser, and the tournament was refereed by past ACE Mentor Program graduates. The fundraiser raised money for student scholarships.
Other GBCA members who competed included O’Donnell & Naccarato, Torcon, Skanska USA Building, Turner Construction (two teams), and Clemens Construction. Congratulations to the Clemens Construction Company Team, who came in 3rd place!
Congratulations to McHugh Engineering and Schnabel Engineering, whose teams came in 1st and 2nd place, respectively.
Thanks to all of the sponsors, and to the staff of ACE Mentor Program of Eastern PA—especially Tiffany Milner and Amanda Gibney Weko—for an excellent event!

About the ACE Mentor Program of Eastern PA
When the ACE (Architecture, Construction, Engineering) Mentor Program began, no one truly understood the positive impact it would have on high school students and the integrated construction industry. As the fastest growing industry-mentoring program in the United States, their mission is simple: They engage, excite, and enlighten high school students to pursue careers in the integrated construction industry.
