On November 29, the General Building Contractors Association (GBCA), Architectural Glass & Metal Association (AGMA), Employing Bricklayers Association (EBA), the Mechanical & Service Contractors Association of Eastern PA (M&SCA), and the National Electrical Contractors Association of Southeastern PA, NJ and DE (NECA) presented Philadelphia’s first ever Construction Technology Expo!

Over 100 attendees from the construction industry and the Drexel University Construction Management Program and Engineering Department communities came to see the new applications, tools, and platforms from over 20 exhibitors. They also took part in discussions with other contractors about opportunities and challenges with implementing new technologies in the field.

Thanks to all who came out! Special thanks to our Platinum Sponsors. The first Construction Technology Expo was a success, and we hope that it will not be the last!

Breakout Session 1: Collaborating with Technology

The construction industry is an incredibly collaborative one, with General Contractors, Subcontractors, Architects, Engineers, and more, all working on projects together. New technologies can help individual companies, but what happens when companies have to figure out how to work together, sometimes with competing brands of technology?
