The 2023 MyWIC Summer Camp is having a busy summer, visiting a variety of trades including masonry, laborers, sheet metal, carpenters, finishing trades, electricians, plumbers, and steamfitters as well as attending multiple jobsite tours. At each of these activities, students got the opportunity to speak to experts in the industry and perform hands-on activities within each specific trade to learn the different types of opportunities they offer.
The 14th Annual MyWIC Camp was held July 6 and is continuing until August 10, 2023. MyWIC Camp is a summer program designed to introduce construction to young women, providing construction experiences and spotlighting woman in the industry.
