On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, GBCA held its annual Fall Membership Dinner at the Bellevue Hotel, Center City. This event featured a panel discussion with John H. Brockwell, Executive Vice President, Mission Critical + Commissioning Leader, Bala Consulting Engineers; Allison M. Gilmore, CAE, Chief Operating Officer, Data Center Coalition; Glenn Murphy, Senior Manager of Economic Development, PECO; and David Wade, Chief of Staff, Pennsylvania Governor’s Office of Transformation & Opportunity, to discuss the region’s data center growth, power infrastructure, and the implications for construction in Greater Philadelphia.

Panelists shared that demand for data centers remains strong, schedules are moving faster, and early coordination with utilities is essential. They emphasized site-ready locations and predictable permitting. Looking ahead, expect more modular builds, higher-density cooling, and a continued focus on sustainability.

GBCA also honored long-standing member R. S. Cook and Associates, Inc., celebrating 75 years of membership and industry leadership.
