On April 28, Chris Jaccino, Assistant Project Manager/Assistant Superintendent of LF Driscoll and GBCA Construction Leadership Council Steering Committee member, spoke with Professor Jamie McDonald’s Productivity in Construction class in Drexel University’s Construction Management Program.
A graduate of Drexel University, Chris spoke about his coop and immediate post-graduation experiences and gave advice to the class of mostly seniors preparing to enter the construction industry. Chris shared how he leveraged relationships formed during his coop terms to create a network of construction professionals that continued after he graduated. He also spoke about the role that GBCA’s CLC played in strengthening his connections and building on his professional development.
In 2021, members of GBCA’s Construction Leadership Council are speaking with students in post-secondary programs in the Philadelphia region. These chats connect emerging construction professionals with students, providing information about what to expect after the students graduate, as well as real life tips that helped them make it as they move forward in their careers.
