On Thursday, September 26, 2019, Philadelphia City Council presented the Chairs and Participants of Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week with a City Council Resolution.
The resolution supports the National Minority Business Development Agency and recognizes October 7 – 11, 2019 as “Philadelphia Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week.”
Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week highlights minority businesses and the resources that help them grow. Throughout the week, organizations from across the region will host events focused on this year’s theme, “Moving the Needle.”
GBCA Contractor Roundtable: A Conversation with MBE/WBE Contractors
As part of MED Week, GBCA is presenting an event on October 9 for non-GBCA-member companies looking to learn more about Philadelphia’s commercial construction industry. This event brings together a panel of contractors to have a candid conversation about their experiences, pain points, successes, tips and tricks on doing work as an MBE/WBE contractor in the Philadelphia Region.
