On June 26, GBCA’s Construction Leadership Council (CLC) hosted an engaging Coffee Chat with Dave Kaminski, Vice President and General Manager of Turner Construction Company – Philadelphia. The discussion was moderated by CLC members Kate Flint and Laura McNeill, both of Turner.
Dave traced his career path from earning a civil-engineering degree at the University of Delaware to spending 17 years at Turner in roles spanning preconstruction, business development, and engineering. Throughout the conversation he shared lessons on goal setting, adapting to industry change, and maintaining work-life balance, emphasizing that every task should be approached “as if you’re doing it for the CEO.”
The session wrapped up with a lively Q&A, giving attendees a chance to dig deeper into Dave’s experience and walk away with practical guidance for their own careers.
