On May 1st, GBCA’s Construction Leadership Council an exclusive hard hat tour of the upcoming Elmwood Zoo’s Welcome Center & Animal Hospital. The project, being built by INTECH Construction, LLC includes the construction and site work of a new 37,000 sf, $41 million welcome center with exhibit space, gift shop, animal hospital, and administrative offices. The project will be revealed at the zoo’s 100th anniversary celebration, at the end of May.
After the hard hat tour, attendees attended a networking happy hour at Taphouse 23.
