On February 25, members of the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) and GBCA membership participated in an exclusive Hard Hat Tour of Temple University’s Paley Hall, the future home of the College of Public Health. Led by Rycon Construction, Inc., the tour provided an in-depth look at this transformative project, which consolidates the college’s 13 locations into a 307,000-square-foot facility—including a 167,000-square-foot renovation and a 140,000-square-foot expansion. Attendees gained insights into the building’s structural elements and had the unique opportunity to visit the future green roof, as the project aims for LEED Silver and WELL certifications.

Paley Hall will feature state-of-the-art classrooms, labs, and a high-tech simulation center designed for clinical training. The tour, hosted by Temple University and Rycon Construction, also highlighted the contributions of GBCA members, including:

  • Anthony Biddle Contractors, Inc.
  • EDA Contractors, Inc.
  • Graboyes Commercial Window and Glass Solutions
  • Independence Steel & Erectors
  • Tri-State Construction Inc.
  • Torrado Construction Co., Inc.

The project is on track for completion in August 2025. To cap off the day, attendees gathered for a networking happy hour at Maxi’s Pizza, Subs & Bar, fostering connections and industry discussions.
