On August 8, 2023, the Construction Leadership Council hosted a Hard Hat Tour of the University of Pennsylvania’s Amy Gutmann Hall, the first Mass Timber Building in Philadelphia. The project, being built by Gilbane Building Company, is six stories high and 116,000 square feet. The building will house instructional laboratories, research centers, active learning classrooms, an auditorium, and faculty offices.
After the tour, attendees gathered at New Deck Tavern for food, drinks, and networking.
