The Comcast Technology Center was named one of the Urban Land Institute’s Global Awards for Excellence. Recipients of ULI’s awards demonstrate “a comprehensive level of quality and a forward-looking approach to development and design, [and] include seven projects in the United States, three in Asia, and one in Europe.”

In addition to exceptional building structure and its aiming for Platinum LEED Certification, ULI recognized the project’s impact on the city:

The owner also voluntarily committed to achieving meaningful participation by minority-, women-, veteran-, and disabled-owned businesses in the economic activity generated by the building. The project has generated more than 20,000 temporary jobs and $2.75 billion in economic activity within the commonwealth. It is estimated that the project will also produce $30.7 million in annual commonwealth tax revenues and $21.5 million in annual city tax revenues.

The Comcast Technology Center was built by LF Driscoll.
