GBCA’s Construction Leadership Council has continued to pivot its activities due to COVID-19 restrictions in 2021. These restrictions, however, have not stopped the CLC from raising funds to support Philadelphia’s communities.
This year, the CLC raised $3000 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand during the first 2021 GBCA Golf Outing at the Philadelphia Cricket Club as well as through an online campaign! These funds will go towards research on and support for children suffering from cancer.
In August, the CLC raised $2000 for Northern Children’s Services (NCS) during the second 2021 GBCA Golf Outing at Greate Bay Country Club in New Jersey. NCS supports children in the Philadelphia region by providing resources that stabilize their home lives.
The Construction Leadership Council serves to build up the next generation of construction leaders in the Philadelphia region. In addition to providing networking opportunities and professional development resources, the CLC emphasizes the connection between our leaders with our communities and city.
