Here is the Governor’s order:

This is a guide to assist you in closing your projects due to the State ordered shutdown. While it is not an all-inclusive, one size fits all guide, we hope it will help in this unprecedented time.

We are actively seeking a grace period for construction projects to ensure that stability and security can be maintained during a temporary shutdown. Additionally, whether work for life-sustaining businesses such as hospitals/medical facilities will be permitted to remain operational.

This is an unprecedented time in our country, state and city. While our government prioritizes the health and safety of all people, we will work with our partners in labor, and in government to help contractors navigate this transition as smoothly as possible.

We will be in touch as more information becomes available.

Our team will continue to monitor the situation and make updates as needed. GBCA will continue to monitor all information and disseminate to our members the most relevant and timely information. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to staff members.
