GBCA has been in constant communication with both the Mayor’s Office and the Governor’s Office to ensure our members voices are heard as we continue to navigate uncharted territory, and as our nation and state respond to this pandemic.

Governor Wolf has amended his original order to close all non-life-sustaining businesses to extend the deadline. All businesses that do not comply will be cited, fined or have their licenses suspended. Enforcement of this amended order will begin on March 23, 2020 at 8:00am.

GBCA has compiled a guide to assist you in closing your projects due to the State ordered shutdown. While it is not an all-inclusive, one size fits all guide, we hope it will help in this unprecedented time.

To further support our members, AGC of America is offering a FREE eight-part webinar series exploring many aspects of the coronavirus pandemic, and the impacts on the construction industry. A webinar will be held daily from Monday, March 23 through Wednesday, April 1 with a start time of 2:00 PM EDT.

Navigating the Outbreak: An Eight-Part Webinar Series on the Factors that Construction Companies Need to Consider, as They Strive for Business Continuity

Topics will include legal liabilities, insurance challenges, labor and safety policies that should be put in place and what to expect out of Washington. Each webinar will take a deep dive into specific topics and feature AGC staff and outside expert speakers.

GBCA will continue to engage our partners to assess the processes and procedures to continue to provide updates as we get more information.
