On Thursday, March 28, GBCA held its first Eggs with OSHA event of 2024. OSHA’s local representatives gave updates about OSHA’s activities and upcoming campaigns.
Brian Devaney of Sales Solutions, Inc., and Vice President of the Mid-Atlantic Construction Safety Council provided the audience with a presentation on fall prevention and protection. Brian gave a refresher on the new American National Standards Institute standards, identified good fall protection manufacturer partners, and gave statistics about falls as it relates to the fatal four. He also discussed elements of inspection as well as inspection requirements, tools to help in the field and the elements of a fall protection rescue plan.
