On Tuesday, December 12, GBCA held its last Eggs with OSHA of 2023. OSHA’s local representatives Theresa Downs gave updates about OSHA’s activities and upcoming campaigns.
Rachel Simpson from Ground Penetrating Radar Systems provided the audience with the best practices and methodologies to keep your site and your team safe, including why you must call 811 before you dig, and why that call is only the first step in a safe excavation. Rachel also covered how to safely cut and core concrete to avoid cutting post tension cables, rebar, and conduit. And lastly, how to avoid expensive and dangerous cross bores when using trenchless technology.
