Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney recently appointed four new members to the board of Philadelphia Works, including Emily Bittenbender, Owner and Managing Partner of Bittenbender Construction, LP. Philadelphia Works is the city’s workforce development board, consisting of leaders from the business, non-profit, labor, and government sectors.
Bittenbender Construction, LP, is a 100% woman-owned and operated commercial general contractor and construction management firm specializing in new construction, renovation, and restoration projects.
The other three appointees are,
- April Walker, Director, Microsoft Technology Center
- Douglas Oliver, Vice President of Communications, PECO
- Brigitte Daniel, Executive Vice President, Wilco Electronic Systems
