On Friday, March 15, GBCA attended Turner Construction Company and The School District of Philadelphia’s Career and Technical Education Senior Success Seminar at the Laborers’ Training Center. This event was to help show senior students how to be successful after graduating from an CTE Construction, Design and Manufacturing program.
The event was attended by over 100 students, who had the opportunity to hear from City Councilmember Katherine Gilmore Richardson, State Representative Joseph Hohenstein, and participate in breakout sessions covering topics such as Financial Literacy, Engineering and Construction, Pre-Apprenticeship, and more.
