At the 2019 Construction Excellence Awards, GBCA created centerpieces that were all about giving back to the community. Not only did we celebrate the best projects and programs in Philadelphia’s commercial construction industry, but we also celebrated the giving spirit of our construction community.
The table centerpieces were made up of materials destined to help local Philadelphians have a better holiday season. The canned goods on the tables will be added to GBCA’s contribution to 93.3 WMMR The Preston and Steve Show’s Camp Out for Hunger campaign supporting Philabundance. GBCA is the sponsor of the Demolish Hunger! Donation Area at the event.
Continuing the Demolish Hunger! theme, the centerpieces featured demolition vehicle toys. Centerpiece Sponsor Geppert Bros., Inc., a local woman-owned demolition contractor, provided the demolition toys, and Sign and Graphics Sponsor Image360 provided the logo printing for the toys as well as the GBCA centerpiece toppers.
On Friday, November 22, 2019, GBCA delivered the centerpiece demolition toys to Northern Children’s Services. We hope that these toys will brighten up some children’s days in the coming year!
