On May 21, the General Building Contractors Association (GBCA) hosted its first-ever Construction Career Day Event for middle and high school students at the Finishing Trades Institute in Northeast Philadelphia. The event saw over 350 students in attendance and featured 13 vendors who provided information about education, apprenticeships, and job opportunities in the Philadelphia trades.
Angelina Perryman spoke to the students about various career paths and opportunities in construction, sharing her personal experiences and providing insights into the history of Perryman Construction.
