On Thursday, July 21, members of GBCA’s Construction Leadership Council gave back to the community by volunteering for MANNA , a nutrition service that makes and delivers medically tailored meals and nutrition education to those in need. This organization, at no cost to its clients, provides nourishment, hope and healing to the Greater Philadelphia area.

CLC members assisted in the kitchen, prepping and packaging meals, after which they gathered for a networking happy hour at Kite and Key.

About MANNA

MANNA opened its doors in 1990 when seven members of the First Presbyterian Church of Philadelphia began delivering meals to their neighbors dying of AIDS. In 32 years, its program has expanded to serve individuals with a wide range of chronic and severe illnesses. MANNA has improved the health and quality of life of more than 40,000 Philadelphia area residents with more than 19,000,000 medically nourishing meals.
